Favorite holiday tradition: “A big one for us is on Christmas Eve my wife makes the Greek dish moussaka, so we always eat that and watch It’s A Wonderful Life on TV. We have to do that every year.” In case you were wondering, that would be on Thomas’ VHS player: “The only reason that I still have a VHS player is I don’t want to buy the DVD, I still like putting in the tape … it makes me feel better. It’s still in great shape because that tape only gets played once a year.”

Favorite holiday song: “I’m a Christmas geek … if you get a couple of eggnogs in me, I’ll sing any Christmas song.”
